Kaushalendra Kumar
Kaushalendra Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Health and Mortality Studies at the International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai, India. He holds a Ph.D. in Population Studies from IIPS. Kumar is a demographer and applied micro-economist. Kumar’s research is focused on identifying the determinants of population health, human capital formation, and survey design. His published research topics includes mortality analysis, child health, health financing, gender and violence, population and development, economics of ageing, and interviewer effects on survey response.
