Ashish Kumar Upadhyay

Dr. Ashish Kumar Upadhyay is a demographer whose research focuses on gender, health, mortality, and ageing. After receiving his Ph.D. from International Institute for Population Sciences Mumbai in 2021, Dr. Upadhyay served as research coordinator of GENDER Project at the International Institute for Population Sciences Mumbai, India. Dr. Upadhyay also served as research coordinator of r4d programme at the International Institute for Population Sciences Mumbai. His research papers have been published in leading journals, such as Studies in Family Planning, Demographic Research, Bulletin of the World Health Organization, PLOS Medicine and Environment International.
