Adriana Reyes
Adriana Reyes is a sociologist and demographer studying intergenerational family dynamics and health disparities across the life course. She is particularly interested in how family ties provide social capital to help individuals navigate the life course, and how these family ties perpetuate inequalities across race and class. Her current work examines race/ethnic differences in intergenerational family relations, the financial and health consequences of living arrangements, economic transfers across generations, and caregiving. Her research also examines race and nativity differences in health across the life course studying trajectories of health and mortality.
