Kassoum Dianou
Kassoum Dianou is a demographer and researcher with extensive experience in population sciences and survey methodologies. I'm currently pursuing my doctoral studies at UC Louvain, focusing on innovative approaches to measuring mortality using mobile phone surveys in low- and middle-income countries. Previously, I worked as research assistant with the Ouagadougou Health and Demographic Surveillance System (HDSS), where I played a key role in collecting and analyzing longitudinal population and health data to inform policy and programmatic interventions. I have collaborated on numerous research projects, including assessments of multidimensional child poverty, health system evaluations, and the impacts of crises on population health in sub-Saharan Africa.
