Wanli Nie
Wanli Nie is a postdoctoral researcher at Centre de recherche en démographie (DEMO) involving in the LIMA project and GLOBMIG project. Her doctoral dissertation studies how international migration affects family behaviours from the life course perspective in the China - U.S. migration context.
Her current research interests lie in two fields: migration studies and family demography. In the field of migration studies, she investigates rural-urban migration in Asia and asylum seeking in the EU. Within the domain of family demography, she studies Chinese fertility and immigrants' fertility behavior.
