Martin Kreidl
Martin Kreidl is a social demographer affiliated with the Department of Sociology at Masaryk University. He obtained his PhD degree in Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2005. His research focuses on social inequality and demography in a comparative perspective. He is especially interested in issues related to intergenerational status inheritance, family formation and dissolution, household composition, and patterns of intergenerational exchange. Since 2015 he has been the country coordinator of the Generations and Gender Programme.
