Donghui Wang
Donghui Wang is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Paul and Marcia Wythes Center on Contemporary China, Princeton University. She received a dual title Ph.D. in Rural Sociology and Demography at the Pennsylvania State University. Her research interest is positioned in the intersection of population health, stratification and development. The overarching objective of her current research program is to examine how culture-related concepts, including norms, attitudes and aspirations are related with demographic behaviors and individual well-being. This broad interest is being translated within different substantive areas of sociology, including aging, transition to adulthood and fertility. Her research has traversed rural and urban spaces in China. She approaches her research from both spatial and life course perspectives and utilizes multiple methodological tools, including spatial, multilevel, longitudinal analysis and computational and demographic techniques.
