Professor of Sociology in the Department of Social Science at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid since 2012. I specialize in analytical sociology, international migration, complex systems, and demographic processes. I have a particular interest in the importance of social networks for people’s decision-making processes, and in how decisions concerning migration and demographic behaviour are shaped by an individual’s position in his or her social network.
