Douglas Gurak
Douglas T. Gurak is an Emeritus Professor in the Department of Development Sociology at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. He is also an honorary fellow at the Center for Demography and Ecology at the University of Wisconsin and editor of the International Migration Review. He does research on immigrant integration in the United States, focusing on the links between secondary migration and integration and on national origin heterogeneity. Previously he was a faculty member at Fordham University and a Senior Research Associate at Fordham’s Hispanic Research Center and at the Center for Policy Research in New York City.
