Vissého Adjiwanou
Vissého Adjiwanou is associate professor in Demography and Quantitative Methods at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), and adjunct professor at the Department of Demography at the Université de Montréal (Canada), and at the University of Cape Town (where he was Senior Lecturer for five years, before joining UQAM). His research interests include maternal and child health, family dynamics, female employment in sub-Saharan Africa, and computational social science. Vissého is the chair of the Panel on Computational Social Science at the Union for African Population Studies (UAPS) and member of the “IUSSP Scientific Panel on Couples' reproductive health and fertility”. Adjiwanou hold a Ph.D in demography (Université de Montréal) and a Master in development economics (CERDI, France), and statistics (ENSEA, Côte d'Ivoire).
