Yasamin Kusunoki
Yasamin Kusunoki is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Systems, Populations and Leadership at the School of Nursing and a Faculty Associate at the Population Studies Center and Survey Research Center at the Institute for Social Research at the University of Michigan. She received her Ph.D. in Public Health from the University of California, Los Angeles, followed by an NICHD postdoctoral fellowship at the Population Studies Center at the University of Michigan. Her overarching research goal is to understand and address sources of existing disparities in sexual and reproductive health behaviors and outcomes to ultimately improve overall health and wellbeing across the life course. She pays particular attention to the dynamic role of young people’s social contexts such as their intimate relationships, families, and communities.
