Kathryn Nowotny
Kathryn M. Nowotny is a doctoral student in sociology at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Her current research interests include health and social inequalities related to drug use and incarceration. She received her MA in Sociology from the University of Houston in 2008. Formerly, she was the Research Coordinator at the Center for Drug and Social Policy Research at the University of Houston, where she coordinated multiple NIDA-funded projects with a focus on drug use and related social and health consequences among high-risk minority groups.
