Dănuţ-Vasile Jemna
Dănuţ-Vasile Jemna is Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University of Iaşi, Romania, and visiting professor at the University of Poitiers, France. Within the Statistics Department, he teaches Sampling Theory and Methods, Demography, Statistics and Econometrics. He received his PhD in Sampling Theory at "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University of Iaşi and completed a postdoctoral research at Romanian Academy of Bucharest. The results of his research activity have been concretized in studies in the field of regional development, macroeconomics and demographic changes in Romania and Central and Eastern European countries. He also published several books in the field of Demography, Econometrics, and Sampling.
