Lena Karlsson
Lena Karlsson is researcher at the Demographic Data Base and member of the research programme Ageing and Living Conditions at the Centre for Populations studies, Umeå University. In 2006, she received her PhD in Sociology from Umeå University. From 2009 to 2011 she had a postdoctoral position at Centre for Sami Research (CeSam) at Umeå University. Her main research interests include historic demography, indigenous health, social identities, ageing and social mobility.
