Anne McDaniel
Anne McDaniel's research focuses on gender, race, and class inequalities in higher education. Her research investigates the causes and consequences of women's growing advantage in college completion in the United States and throughout the world as well as women's continued underrepresentation in science, engineering, technology and math. Her research also focuses on the reasons for varying college completion rates across industrialized countries, the wage penalty or premium highly-educated women experience in elite professions, and how national attitudes towards gender equality affects educational outcomes for men and women.
