Carla Rowold
Carla Rowold is a postdoctoral researcher at the Max-Planck-Institute for Demographic Research, studying gender inequalities, life-course sociology, and family demography. She earned her PhD in Sociology from the University of Oxford and Nuffield College, and holds BA and MA degrees in Social Sciences from Humboldt University Berlin. Her research focuses on life-course inequalities, particularly gender disparities such as the Gender Pension Gap, and advancing methodological approaches like sequence analysis and decomposition techniques. Recent publications appeared in Sociological Methods & Research and The Demography of Transforming Families.
