Julia Klein

Julia Klein is a researcher at Åbo Akademi University in Vaasa (Finland). She specializes in working with longitudinal register data from Finland, with a special focus on different aspects of mortality and the Swedish-speaking population in Finland. Her current work revolves around religious affiliation and how it relates to mortality in the Finnish context.
She received her doctoral degree from in 2022 with a thesis on centring disability pension, as an outcome following sickness allowance receipt and as a predictor for mortality. She has worked as a project researcher at Åbo Akademi since then.
