Daniël van Wijk

Daniël van Wijk is a postdoctoral researcher at NIDI. He studies family formation, socioeconomic inequality, and contextual effects. His recent work focuses on the question how the economic and housing conditions faced by today’s young adults influence their family life, particularly the decision to have children. He examines this using advanced quantitative methods and a variety of data sources, including register data and panel surveys.
