Michaela Kreyenfeld
Michaela Kreyenfeld is deputy head of the Laboratory of Economic and Social Demography at the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research in Rostock. She studied Sociology at Bochum and Rostock University. In 2002, she received her PhD in Sociology at Rostock University. Between 2005 and 2012, she has been a Junior Professor of Demography at Rostock University. She was a visiting scholar at the Center for Policy Research at Syracuse University, the European Centre for Analysis in the Social Sciences (ECASS) and the department of Social Policy and Social Work at York University. Kreyenfeld is a member of the German Research Data Council and a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Family Research.
