Markus Sauerberg
I have studied Demography at the University of Rostock, participated in the European Doctoral School of Demography (EDSD) cohort 2016-2017, and did my PhD in Social Sciences and Economics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU). My work experience includes examining methodological issues related to the health expectancy indicator within the ERC project "Levels and trends of health expectancy: Understanding its measurement and estimation sensitivity" and investigating mortality differentials within the ERC project "Regional Disparities in Cause-Specific Mortality in Europe". Generally, I am interested in methods, formal demography, data visualization, and coding. I like the sea, music, and sports.
