Maria Vignau Loria
María is interested in the intersection of demographic processes, individual behaviors, and institutional policies and actions. She has looked at processes of reintegration of Mexican returned migrants with a transnational perspective that links their experiences as international immigrants in the United States with their re-adaptation back to Mexico. Her dissertation explores patterns and trends of deportation from the U.S. to Mexico across different deportation regimes.
