Melinda Mills
Melinda Mills is a Professor of Sociology at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands and Editor-in-Chief of the European Sociological Review. Her research interests include: sociogenetics, biodemography, event history analysis, life course and family research, and cross-national comparative research. She received a BA and MA in Sociology at the University of Alberta, Canada and a PhD in Demography in 2000 from the University of Groningen. She has worked at the University of Bielefeld and Free University Amsterdam before moving to Groningen in 2006.
