Alternative estimates support new findings of Andreev and Kingkade

Dear Editor,

Although I used other data and methods than Andreev and Kingkade, I obtain similar results. It is not an exact replication of their study but provides support for their recommendation to estimate average at death for infants with one of the methods they suggested and not anymore with the canonical formula of Coale and Demeny.
